A big thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Treasure Table and our very first Monday Mug! Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, so many items found new homes, and several children are now enjoying new-to-them toys, books, and games (all without spending a cent). It was wonderful to see our school community come together, sharing, chatting, and connecting.
We can’t wait for the next Monday Mug to meet even more of you, listen to your ideas, and continue building a strong, inclusive, and supportive community for all. We’d also like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported our Tony’s Pies fundraiser. Your participation helps make a difference for our school, and we hope you and your families are enjoying the delicious baked goods!
And finally, we need your help! Please vote for Essendon Primary School in the Bank First People’s Choice Community Fund for a chance to secure $2,000 in funding. These funds will help us implement standardised educational waste sorting bins across our learning spaces, which is another great way we can work together for a better school environment.
👉 Vote here: https://tip.bankfirst.com.au/peoples-choice🕒 Voting closes 1st July — don’t miss out!✅ After logging your name and email, please select Essendon Primary in the drop-down menu.
Thank you for being part of all these efforts. Together, we can achieve so much!
Kind regards,
Maria Kendel
