We kindly remind all parents and carers that it is inappropriate to approach teachers during class time, as well as during the afternoon pick-up period when teachers are supervising students, including when they are walking out to the QUAD. Mornings are also a critical time when teachers are responsible for student supervision as students arrive for class.
In particular, we have noticed an increasing number of parents approaching teachers with concerns or issues during the afternoon pickup time. Please understand that teachers have a duty of care to all students during supervision periods until every student has been safely picked up.
If you need to discuss any matters related to your child, we ask that you please make an appointment through the school office. This allows us to allocate a suitable time to address your concerns confidentially and with the attention they deserve.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both our students and staff.
There has been a significant increase in illegal parking during afternoon pick-up times. We have received photographic evidence of this unsafe behaviour, which has been reported to Fairfield Council.
Parking illegally not only breaches regulations but puts the safety of our students at serious risk. We strongly urge all parents and carers to park responsibly and use the temple car park for pick-up and drop-off.
Your cooperation is essential to ensuring a safe environment for everyone. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
We have received reports from concerned community members about an elderly individual distributing food to children on their way to school. While this may be well-intentioned, we ask all parents and carers to remind their children not to accept or eat any food offered by strangers.
This is a crucial safety precaution, as accepting food from unknown sources can pose risks including allergic reactions or food contamination. Our priority is the health and safety of all students.
Thank you for reinforcing this important message with your children.
