Performing Arts

What a wonderful start our students have had in Performing Arts this term! Classrooms have been buzzing with creativity, confidence and plenty of energy as students explore drama, dance and music. We have an action-packed year ahead, with performances, choir opportunities and, of course, our whole-school production in Term 3. It's going to be a fantastic year of sharing our talents with the community.
I’m also excited to introduce our 2026 Performing Arts Captains, Pearl and Amelia, along with our Choir Captains, Mia, Isabelle and Georgia. We know they’ll be wonderful leaders and role models at RGLPS.
Our Junior and Senior Choirs begin again next week! Choir is open to all students, regardless of experience. It's all about having fun, building confidence, making friends and enjoying music together. Throughout the year, students learn a wide variety of songs, play musical games and work towards exciting performances at school and in the community.

Performing Arts Captain Update:
Hi and welcome to a new and amazing year at RGLPS! This year will be full of performing arts including our School Production in Term 3. The 5’s and 6’s will be able to audition for backstage or speaking roles. In week 7, students can apply for a role on the sign up sheet. All the other year levels will be doing a fun dance for the production. Can't wait to see all the students thrive through a fantastic year full of jazz hands and great performances.
From your awesome Performing Arts Captains, Pearl and Amelia:)
