The newest addition to the school, which has now been fully installed (but is not in operation yet), is our LIFT. A shout-out to Summer and Zali from 34A, who were the first two students to ride this, along with Ms Angie from the office and myself. There is still some work to be done in this area regarding OHS, signage, compliance, and staff training, which we hope to do very soon. We will also be doing some additional work in the garden area near this lift to ensure that it is easily accessible and safe to use.

We understand that sometimes students are unable to attend school due to a range of factors, such as illness, family commitments, or appointments. However, the number of days students miss school can soon impact their learning. If your child is away, we ask that this be 'explained' on Compass, as we want to reduce the number of 'unexplained' absences. If you are not sure how to do this, then pleae give the office a call.
The graph below shows our current 2026 attendance data. We want to see more students with higher percentages in 'aqua' and fewer below 70% 'black'.

For all the romantics, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate kindness, friendship, and love in all its forms. While many think of flowers, chocolates, and cards, this special day is really about showing appreciation for the people who make a difference in our lives.
In our school community, Valentine’s Day is a wonderful opportunity for students to express gratitude and care for friends, teachers, and family members. Simple gestures, like a handmade card, a kind note, or a friendly smile, can brighten someone’s day and remind them they are valued.
Wishing everyone a happy Valentine’s Day! 💌
