Principal's message
Public Education Week
Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our Open Day. Our school was buzzing with excitement from the students. I enjoyed visiting every classroom and Book Fair and meeting parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and siblings of our students.
Congratulations to our Training Band, Band and Choir for sharing their musical talents during the picnic lunch. I enjoyed the entertainment provided.
Student Behaviour Strategy - Community Survey
Thank you to the community members who provided feedback on current positive behaviour for learning and behaviour management strategies at PPS. The leadership team will be reviewing the triangulated data collected from community, students and staff and aligning it with the DoE Student Behaviour Policies to develop a School Behaviour Support and Management Plan. This plan will be published on the school website and implemented in 2025.
Kindergarten Enrolments for 2025
Is your child starting Kindergarten next year? Have you completed an enrolment form?
We are currently in the planning stage for our School Tours and Kindergarten Transition Program for our 2025 students. To ensure your child has the opportunity to engage in the complete Transition Program, please ensure the office has your completed enrolment form and supporting documents.
Let us know if your child is absent
The wellbeing of our students is extremely important to us. One way we protect the wellbeing of your child is by fulfilling our responsibilities as both parents/carers and school staff by reporting and monitoring student absences.
Please remember to contact us on 9153 9157. This is best done early in the morning if your child is going to be away or late for school so your child’s absence can be recorded correctly and we can provide appropriate support for you and your family.
If you speak a language other than English and need help talking with our staff, please telephone the interpreter service on 131 450. This service is free. Listen in your language or see How to contact the Telephone Interpreter Service.
For further information on the processes we use to record, monitor and follow-up student attendance and absences please read our School Attendance Policy.
Office Hours 8:45am - 3:45pm
If you require assistance from our office staff, please contact our office during the hours of 8:45am - 3:45pm, Monday - Friday. During these hours the office staff will answer phone calls, provide entry and exit through the automatic gate on Bonds Rd and review emails.
