Good afternoon families,
I hope you have been watching the Olympics and cheering on our wonderful Australian competitors. I was lucky enough to watch one of my daughters compete for Australia in Artistic Swimming in the Beijing Olympics. Bethany visited some of the classes yesterday and spoke about her experience as an Olympian and showed some of her uniform, bathers and other items she collected during the games. Bethany will also visit the Year 5 classes again next Friday.
Congratulations
Lucy, one of our Year 5 students, chose to make a video to enter the University of Sydney Sleek Geeks Science competition. This involved making a 2min video exploring the theme ‘energy’. Lucy received a highly commended for her video about Convection Energy!
Cyber Safety Parent Information Night
We have our Cyber Safety parent information night on Thursday night at 7pm, it will be a very informative and engaging session about understanding how to assist our children to stay safe online. Please register your attendance via the link below

Friday 9 August- Tech Olympics - 5 year 6 students will compete in this inaugural event at Our Lady's of the Pine Donvale.
