Room B5 - Jo & Nola
In Jo & Nola's classroom this week, students had a virtual online visit to the Healesville Sanctuary.
Students were asked to be explorers on Wireadjuri country and identify native animals. They had to examine habitats, poo, tracks and sounds. Students listened to a traditional story 'How the Lyrebird got its sounds'.
Today we read an alphabet book 'A is for Australian Animals'. We learned about different habitats, features, etc. Students each chose an animal to colour in and create their environment based on images from the book.
We have been excellent learners.
