We have a lot of new books in the library this year. Our librarian is the amazing Mrs. Donnelly and the Library captain is Bhargav Shinde.
We have recently had Book Week at RHPS. It was great to see all the students dressed up as their favourite book characters - I think I even saw a real life lamb!
The Premiers Reading Challenge is also going very well and all classes have been trying their best to read as many books as they can.
CBCA Books will be able to be borrowed soon but you can enjoy them in the library. Did you know that one of the schools amazing teachers is an author? Her book is available to read and borrow in the library. In wet weather timetables you can borrow one of the many games in the library such as chess, Lego and more. Mrs. Donnelly favourite book in the library is 'When You’re a Boy' by Blake Nuto. And her favourite colour is green and her favourite month is December. Some recommendations are 'Dragon Girl' which is popular in grades prep-2 and for 3-6 the Aussie history and wars books are very popular.
