Prep                        

The preps have been discovering new games in pe such as line tag or octopus. This is helping their co-ordination and ability to play games with new friends and teach them a few rules outside of school. The preps have also been learning about kicking.

 

Grade 1/2

The grade 1/2s have been doing Olympics themed games, which has been super fun. They are now working on their throwing and catching skills, which will help them in lots of games and sports.

 

Grade 3/4 

The grade three and fours have been playing invasion games. They also have been practising basketball skills, such as dribbling and shooting as preparation for the term 3 winter Hoop Time, which is against other schools where they compete to advance to the next round and further on.

 

Grade 5/6

The 5/6s have been participating in SEPEP rosters in PE. Classes were divided into teams that then played against each other each week. They are now playing target games, where they will play lots of games practising aiming at a target.

 

 

FUN FACTS:

Mrs Layton was the Australian Junior High Jump Champion and jumped 1.78m!

Her favourite sports are Athletics and Netball.
