Learning in Prep!

The Preps had a very exciting visit from Curtis’ mum, Rachel, who is a paramedic and works in our community. She showed lots of the equipment she uses to help people in emergencies. The students were thrilled to explore the ambulance, take turns lying on the stretcher, and even pretend to drive! It was a fantastic hands-on experience that sparked lots of curiosity and questions. We are very grateful to Rachel for giving our Preps such a memorable and educational visit. Thank you Rachel!

We also had a terrific visit from Georgie’s dad, Dale, who is a police officer. Dale—Senior Sergeant Maxwell—spoke to the children about the important work police do in the community and shared helpful tips on how to stay safe, including what to do if they ever become lost. The students learned how to identify police officers and explored some of the equipment used on the job. A highlight of the visit was getting to sit inside the police car, speak over the loudspeaker, and watch the lights and sirens in action. It was a fantastic and memorable learning experience for all! Thank you, Senior Sergeant Maxwell!
