Instrumental Showcase
Last night’s Instrumental Showcase was a truly special event. Our students shone as they shared their musical talents, and it was lovely to see how much pride they took in their performances. A big thank you to our amazing instrumental teachers for supporting their students so well, and to Dr Ian and Mrs Murray for being our reliable “roadies” with sound, technology and endless microphone adjustments.
We were delighted to have such a strong turnout of parents, grandparents and friends. Congratulations to all our performers for their commitment to practising and for having the confidence to play in front of an audience. We enjoyed everything from KISS to classical pieces, with piano, violin, drums, guitar and more.

State Championships
Today our Year 5 and 6 students competed in the School Sport Victoria Softcross State Championships. The teams represented our school with enthusiasm and great sportsmanship. They had a fantastic experience, with a mix of wins and losses along the way.
Thankyou to Miss J and Mr MacCartney for coaching and cheering from the sidelines, and congratulations to all students on reaching such a high level of competition.
Melbourne University
Last Friday, a group of our student representatives attended Indonesian Day at the University of Melbourne. They enjoyed a full day exploring Indonesian culture, and we look forward to Bu Sia sharing more about their experience in our next newsletter.
Jingle Bells
Christmas is just around the corner, and the school is already filled with festive spirit, from the sound of students practising carols to our beautiful Christmas tree in the foyer. (thank you to Kaitlin for the decorations).
Thank you to all families who have donated to our food hampers for those in need.
Mr Silverwood is continuing to collect items so we can spread a little extra cheer to families this Christmas.
Have a wondeful week with your family and friends
