What's been happening this week? 

ENJOYING MATHS!

The 1/2 students have been busy playing Maths games this week. We especially loved using playing cards to use our addition and subtraction facts to play lots of fun games. Next week, we will making up our own Maths games and teaching our peers. 

BIKE EDUCATION

This week, the Year 5 students participated in their final Bike Education ride. We couldn't have chosen a better day. We rode along the freeway track to Slater Reserve in Blackburn where we stopped for a rest, morning tea and some time to play. The ride back to school was magnificent as most of it was downhill! 

The students listened well and rode safely as a group. Thanks to all of the families for assisting their children to bring their bikes to school every Tuesday. For those of you who left bikes here for the duration, please feel free to pick them up any time from now on.
