Year 5 Highlight

Our Year 5 students recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to Scienceworks, where they attended the engaging Cool Stuff show as part of our Discovery-Based Learning (DBL) program. The performance captured students’ attention through interactive demonstrations that explored solids, liquids and gases in fun and memorable ways, bringing our classroom learning to life.

Students also had the opportunity to explore Scienceworks independently, including the Think Ahead exhibition, where they investigated ideas and innovations related to future technologies and possibilities. 

They also visited the Sportsworks area, where they learned about the science behind sport, including movement, forces and the human body in action, making connections between science concepts and the real world.
