Student Semester 2 reports to go out on Friday

Semester 2 student reports will be available on Sentral later this week. Please ensure you download your child’s report and save it, so that you have access to the report when you are no longer on Sentral. These reports provide valuable insights into your child’s academic progress, achievements, and areas for growth throughout the semester. We encourage you to review the reports carefully and discuss them with your child to celebrate successes and set goals for the future. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a meeting with your child’s teacher, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Before and after-school Extra-Curricular activities – Survey feedback

Thank you to all the parents who took the time to complete the survey. Your responses have shown a strong interest in language, sport, and music classes as preferred options for before and after-school activities.

We are currently exploring providers to support these popular activities and would love your input to help us tailor our offerings.

If you are interested in your child attending an after-school language class, please let us know which language you prefer by completing this short survey: https://forms.gle/9MZQqh7ARQDoZStW9

Thank you for helping us create enriching opportunities for our students.

High school orientation day

Today is high school orientation day for Year 6 students. This important event provides an opportunity for students to become familiar with their new school environment, meet teachers and fellow students, and explore the facilities. Orientation Day helps to ease the transition from primary to secondary school by giving students a taste of what to expect in their first year. We encourage all parents and carers to support their children as they embark on this exciting next chapter in their education journey.

Thank you morning tea for our parent helpers

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated parent volunteers who have generously contributed their time and efforts throughout the year. To show our appreciation, we hosted a special Morning Tea for our parent helpers. This event was an opportunity for us to celebrate the invaluable support you provide our school community, whether it’s assisting in classrooms, supporting excursions, being part of the P&C, SRE/SEE teachers, or helping with events. Your involvement makes a significant difference to our students’ learning experiences.

End of Year concert – Thursday 6:00 PM at Marsden High School Hall

Our annual End of Year Concert promises to be a wonderful celebration of student talent and achievement. Students from all grades have been rehearsing enthusiastically, showcasing their skills in music and singing. The concert is a highlight of the school calendar and a chance for families to come together and enjoy a festive evening of entertainment. We encourage all families to attend and support our performers as they share their hard work and creativity. Our school’s P&C will be raising funds to support families from our school who at times require financial assistance for their child. Bring cash or card to support this worthwhile cause.

PSSA

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the PSSA (Primary School Sports Association) competitions this year! Your commitment, sportsmanship, and teamwork have been outstanding. We are proud of every student who represented our school, whether in weekly games or finals.

Congratulations to our PSSA Volleyball team for their outstanding performance, winning the final match with a decisive 3-0 victory! The team demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and true team spirit, all under the expert guidance of our dedicated coach, Miss S Kim.

I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our PSSA and Sports Coordinators, along with the teachers who volunteer their time to coach and support the teams. Their commitment and hard work ensure that our students are well-prepared and confident to compete against other schools each week.

Our PSSA program would not be possible without the tireless efforts of our staff and the invaluable support of our parents, who not only encourage their children but also contribute by covering PSSA costs and cheering our teams. Together, we create a vibrant and successful sporting community. Thank you all!
