Careers Team on the road
Elena and Ms Lochery have been attending careers practitioner’s days from Geelong, Bundoora and in between to find out what is the latest on offer at each of the Major institutions. These valuable days help them know what new courses, pathways and offerings are available to Nazareth Students. Of special note was Elena’s nomination for Best Creative Careers Practitioner. A wonderful acknowledgement of the lengths she has gone above and beyond for students at Nazareth.
Careers Newsletter to every Year 11 and 12 Student
Ms Lochery continues to send out an important Careers Newsletter to all Year 11 and 12 students each week. The Newsletter includes information about events offered to students, Course information based on Industry and other key information to help students make informed decisions about their pathways post Nazareth. To encourage students to read the Newsletter, prizes for finding key information has become a new tradition.
Year 10 Work Experience
The dreaded deadline is approaching to ensure all documentation is in to allow students to participate in the work experience program. As some schools have abandoned work experience since COVID, it’s important students make the most of this opportunity as it would be a shame to lose it here as well.
Help Needed for Work Experience
Are you able to have a young enthusiastic Nazareth student develop their skills to become a great contribution to society? The Joseph centre have some great students who would love to complete their work experience with you. We have budding engineers and accountants needing some support in finding out more about these careers. Feel free to email Theresa.lochery@nazareth.vic.edu.au if you are able to help with providing work experience June 24 to 28.
Mid Year Online VCE lectures – ONE DAY SALE
On Friday 22 March starting at 8.00 am and finishing at 5.00 pm you can purchase tickets to any lecture that is a part of the Mid Year Online Lecture Program for only $26 per student per lecture. Tickets are normally $46.00 so that is a saving of $20.00 PER SESSION!
