Reflecting on a Busy Term of Learning

As we near the end of another term filled with enriching experiences and academic growth, it is a fitting moment to reflect on the journey we have undertaken together. Term One has been a whirlwind of activity, with students fully engaged in their learning and teachers tirelessly supporting their progress.

In addition to our academic endeavors, our school community has been bustling with an array of extra-curricular activities. From sports competitions to incursions and excursions and performing art performances, our students have showcased their talents and passions beyond the classroom. These activities not only nurture individual interests but also cultivate teamwork, leadership, and resilience among our students.

AIMS

One of the significant highlights of this term has been the introduction of our new learning management system, AIMS. This new platform has improved the way we communicate and collaborate on academic and curriculum matters. In our commitment to enhancing student success, we have also introduced the Notification of Assessment. This initiative aims to empower students in their preparation for assessment tasks and foster greater parental involvement in your child's learning process. We encourage parents to utilise this resource to stay informed and engaged.

NAPLAN Assessments

In recent weeks, our Year 3, 5, 7, and 9 students embarked on their NAPLAN assessments. These assessments offer essential insights into students' strengths and areas for growth, guiding educators in tailoring their teaching approaches to better support the individual learning needs of our students.

Parent Teacher Interviews

As we approach the end of term, our final event on the calendar is the final session of Parent-Teacher Interviews. Parent Teacher Interviews have provided a valuable opportunity for constructive dialogue between teachers, students, and parents, ensuring a shared understanding of each student's progress and areas for improvement.

Wishing you a happy Easter

Amidst the academic and extra-curricular endeavours, let us not forget the significance of the upcoming Easter holiday. Easter is the holiest of traditions in the Christian calendar, symbolising renewal, hope, and new beginnings. I wish all those celebrating a joyous and meaningful Easter season.

Holiday Break

As we bid farewell to Term One, I encourage everyone to take this upcoming holiday as an opportunity to rejuvenate and relax. Let us take a moment to reflect on our achievements and challenges during the term, identifying areas for growth and improvement as we look ahead to Term Two.

Wishing you all a restful and happy holiday break!
