From the Head of Senior School

Mr Trent Chapman

Athletics Carnival

The recent House Athletics Carnival held on the Main oval was a tremendous success, with an amazing display of House spirit from both staff and students. It was a day filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and friendly competition, which brought everyone together and created a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Participation across the age groups was excellent and it was fantastic to see students encouraging and congratulating each other throughout the day,

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the final relays. The cheers and screams from the crowd were thunderous as each house supported their runners to the finish line. The House Athletics Carnival is a testament to the school’s strong sense of community, with students and staff coming together to create a truly memorable day. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our staff who supported and ran each event, and I look forward to another successful carnival next year.

ANZAC Day – Thursday 25 April

The school has traditionally been very well represented at the City of Orange ANZAC Day march and it is a wonderful opportunity for our students to be seen as active members of our local community. All students should endeavour to attend the march in Orange. Cadet rank should also attend the march in Orange.

The local sub-branch of the RSL is most appreciative of our participation, both in the march itself and with music. The commitment begins at 9:40am and concludes at approximately 11:30am - 12:00 noon.

Our representation in Orange this year will be as follows:

For Boarders:

We do not expect any boarders, cadets or non-cadets, to return to Orange for the commemoration. For most, this is an opportunity to attend services in their hometown.

Day Students:

All non-Cadet Day students are encouraged to attend and march.

Pre-K – Year 6 students are encouraged to attend and march.
