Banyule Division Swimming Championships 

 

Congratulations to the five girls that represented the school at the Banyule Division swimming meet on Tuesday 12th March at Oak Park Aquatic centre in Pascoe Vale. The students were swimming against the best swimmers in Banyule, and all produced outstanding swims. 

 

The students that finish first and second progress to the next round which is the Regional Finals. 

Congratulations to:

Taz (6P) who came first in her backstroke and butterfly events.  

Charlotte (5L) who came first in backstroke and 2nd in freestyle.  

Adelphe (5S) who came second in her breaststroke event. 

 

All three students progress to the Regionals scheduled for Thursday 21st March. 

 

We also had a Relay Team at the event, comprising of Charlotte (5L) Adelphe (5S ) Maddie (5M) and Abigail (5L). The students had a great swim finishing 3rd!  

What superstars! 

Competing for Victoria

All the best  to Allegra (6P) who is competing for Victoria at the School Sports Australia National Aquathon Championships. Allegra is competing against the best students in Australia in the aquathon which is a 1km run, a 200m swim followed by a 1km run.  

 

Good luck to Maddie (5M) who is representing the school in the Banyule Division Tennis Tournament on Monday.
