Free cricket clinic
Next Thursday the 21st of March, Armidale is lucky enough to be hosting the Baggy Blues which sees past and present NSW and Australian cricketers to the region promoting cricket and mental health in the rural and regional space.
From 5:00 to 6:00pm on Thursday, Steve Rixon will be running a free clinic for junior cricketers at the Armidale Sportsground. Steve has represented NSW as a player and has coached all around the world at state and national level including having been the head coach of New South Wales and New Zealand as well as assisting Sri Lanka and Pakistan over a long playing and coaching career.
All equipment will be provided, and there will be a cricket kit giveaway to one boy and one girl who displays fantastic effort, sportsmanship and skills throughout the hourly session.
