BOOK WEEK 202
Last week we celebrated Book Week (Read, Grow, Inspire) at BRPS. We welcomed Zeno Sworder, author/illustrator of "My Strange Shrinking Parents" (CBCA 2023 Picture Book of the Year). Zeno shared his latest picture book and spoke to our students about the process of writing and illustrating his books.
The children then enjoyed a book creation workshop where everyone wrote and illustrated their own book. Please ask your child to share their book at home.
During lunchtimes we held activities for the students. Library Club had over 50 students come along to color in bookmarks, write book reviews and book recommendations.
What a huge community of book lovers!
