Term 3 in the Art Room

We have been very busy this term. Here is just some of what we have been up to:

Prep: Cactus sculpture. Currently working on a symmetrical blob painting and collage.

Grade 1: Gelli Plate Printing. Currently working on a Fantastical World Diorama.

Grade 2: Bubble printing to create a collaborative hive (on display next to office) and making a clay stationary holder with a pinch pot and cylinder.

Grade 3: Layered shape artwork and a contrasting paper weave. Currently working on a Steampunk machine plate. 

Grade 4: Abstract oil pastel portraits and an acrylic landscape inspired by local artist Anna Blatman. Currently working on a textile weave.

Grade 5: Hokusai or Van Goh plasticine artwork. Currently working on a Penrose Triangle painting. 

Grade 6: Iconic ice-cream watercolour. Currently working on a surreal collage.
