School Captains

The year 11 team is proud of the number of students putting their hats in the ring for a run at school captain positions. We look forward to seeing your presentations and wish you all the best in pursuing responsibility and leadership. Please support one another, make sure you participate in the process, and encourage the younger students to vote for who they would like to see as leaders in the school. Good luck to all the candidates.

A few reminders

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by school or any stress, Hamish is available to help you talk through anything you need, even if it’s a quick chat to vent about life or school. We have a fantastic well-being team to help you with your needs. Please make the most of it.

The careers team are here for you if you’d like to discuss your pathways. Many of you are expected to change your goals and pathways throughout your VCE/VM journey. If you need to reevaluate your pathway, please schedule a meeting with the careers team through a direqt message on SEQTA. You can contact Mr Berger or Mr Schulz about a careers meeting.

For any other support you might require, come see us in the year 11 office or send us a DM and we will work with you to find solutions.

University Open Days

Over the following months, many universities and colleges will be holding open days and tours for prospective students. This year is a great time to start exploring different options and getting a feel for which campuses might suit you. Term 3 of year 12 can be a high-pressure time, so start looking at options now to do a favour for your future self. Many of the tours require appointments, so make sure you book online. Can’t make it in person? No worries, many institutions offer live virtual tours or Q&A sessions.
