Year 10 Bakers Shop

Year 10 Bakers Shop class have been learning and working through the process of cake making and design in preparation for their Birthday Cake design brief CAT.

Students baked and decorated cupcakes using butter cream icing with a range of decorative such as fondant, sugar crystals, rosettes, sprinkles, chocolate filigree and other piping techniques.

They baked a quick mix carrot cake and practiced piping with cream cheese frosting, as well as made a chocolate chiffon cake with ganache. The class have also decorated Marie biscuits using fondant.
