Welcome to Week 8

We are under 3 weeks from the finish line which is Term 3. It has been one of the busiest terms I think ever experienced for all teachers and students. Thank you to the staff, parents and students that have been involved.

Parent teacher interviews are being organised for next week and I urge all parents to please book in to get an update of the work students need to complete, or to get support in applying for employment and TAFE.

As we move into the September break, we ask that you look after yourself, your children and reach out for any support you need. If students are stressed as it moves closer to results please reach out. Horsham has a range of services to assist you through many situations when schools are closed, and that support is unavailable.

YELLOW GROUP

A very busy few weeks in Yellow Group has seen 6 students take up work experience.

Employers helping these students include :

Horsham Autotech, 

Wimmera Diesel and Four Wheel Drive,

Vinnies Horsham,

Lester’s Automotive,

Goolum Goolum,

and Yarriambiack Shire Council

This has been a great development for Alt programs students and is also complimenting their VET studies and VPC work related skills. Well done!
