Book Week Celebrations

On Friday last week, we hosted our annual Book Week parade, and what a parade it was! The day saw characters from every book imagined. We had; bad guys, crayons who had quit, Dr Suess characters running wild, scarecrows and so many more! If we searched very hard, we could even find where Wally was hiding.

All the students and teachers enjoyed the opportunity to parade around to the fantastic playlist and show off their amazing costumes. Mrs Smith, Mrs Lantry and Mrs Allen even did a cartwheel each.

At the end of the parade, the teachers performed a dance. The performance ended with two daring gangster grandparents exhibiting some groovy moves.

Every year during Book Week we host several voluntary competitions for students. This year the entries were all phenomenal. The students produced outstanding dioramas, reimaged book cover art and clever BookFace photographs. The following students we the winners for each competition and stage.
