YEAR 9/10 OUTDOOR EDUCATION

As part of the Year 9/10 Outdoor Education program students have been developing there first aid skill sets in a wide variety of situations. The key areas of focus for the students have been.

  • D.R.S.A.B.C.D procedures for patient assessment and treatment. 
  • Recognising and treating 
  • Shock, arm and shoulder injuries with Slings 
  • Broken bones with Splints and Snake bites
