Werribee Zoo Excursion...

Last week out Grade 3 's and 4's went to the Werribee zoo. They were lucky enough to attend the safari tour, and a predator and prey information session in which they learnt some interesting facts about the safari animals living there. Please enjoy the photos and exciting pieces of writing from some of our students who attended...

House Activities Day...

Two weeks ago the House captains of Chilwell successfully completed our first house activities day. This session included fun games and activities like mindfulness and Lego indoors, and bean bag toss and silent ball outdoors. Each house was assigned teachers to help with these activities, and each house did their own activities. Two houses completed their activities indoors, and the other two completed there activities outdoors. Bareena and Riversdale were the houses inside, and Marnock and Balyang were outside. Overall, this week of house activities went well. It was great to share the day with younger students and have a wide variety of activities inside and outside, we are looking forward to the next session with some new events for each house.

Science with the Preps...

We were so lucky to have Roy the Scientist visit our school today! The preps were able to watch experiments and even get involved. We discussed lots of scientific terms about the weather and our bubbles even showed a rainbow! There were screams of delight when there was explosions and eruptions! What a fun way to learn all about Science and our Weather!
