You're right, I can’t believe it’s the end of term 3 either.

We’ve had so many great events and fundraising activities this term. I’d like to give a very very big thank you to everyone in the OLA community for supporting P&F Fundraising. We are edging ever closer to our funding goals for the year and I’m getting super excited to see the brand new bubblers in action.

However, none of these events, stalls, shops, etc. can happen without our wonderful OLA people. This P&F Page in this newsletter issue is dedicated to the P&F Team + all the volunteers who put their hand up and donate so so so many hours of their time to making things happen. Thank you.

School Disco Thank You

To hear all the kids describing this great night was really heartwarming. It was awesome to put on a night for them to get their dance on and enjoy a night of games and Zooper Doopers.

Thank you to Elizabeth, Mel, Rachael for organising and to all of the parent helpers/bouncers.

Fathers Day Thank You

On Friday 01st September, between 7.30am and 8.45am, we served up 320 Bacon and Egg Rolls to the Dads & special friends of OLA!! In addition to coffee, juice and bircher muesli! It was wonderful to see all the dads and kids enjoy their special morning!

A huge thank you Steve Kapogiannatos (Cleo 3/4 TR & Peter 5/6 GO) at Primo Foods for kindly sponsoring the bacon! It was much appreciated and very gratefully received. Thank you Steve!

We would like to thank each and every volunteer who gave up their time on the day before with moving equipment and on the morning; cooking, prepping, serving, coffee making! It really was a team effort so thank you! There are too many to mention individually but you know you are!!

Art Show Thank You

What a night that was. The new courtyard area makes for a brilliant little mini festival feel, a really great event space. The kids' art was all so beautiful and well presented. To top it off Melbourne even turned on the weather. Nice.

Thank you to our super Prep Rep team; Paulette, Anthea, Laura & Sally and to all of their helpers. I can't wait for next year.

Uniform Shop Open & Thank You

First off, the second hand uniform shop will be open Thursday 4th October from 2-3.30pm. ( week 1 of term 4) for all of your uniform needs.

Secondly, a very big thank you to Rachael, Dian, Elena and their helpers for beautifully managing the uniform shop. It’s such a great resource for OLA families and the perfect addition to compliment our events.

World Teachers Day Morning Tea (for staff) - Oct 05

Just after the school holidays we’re celebrating world teachers day on Thursday 5th October (week one) with morning tea supplied by Grade 5 families for our amazing OLA staff. Perhaps school holidays are a great time for children to make a card for their teachers/staff to show appreciation!

The P&F Team thought this was an excellent way to thank all the staff who go above and beyond to make our events and activities go off without a hitch.
