Principal Post

Dear Families,
Our Annual Athletics Sports Day held last Friday was a resounding success. The students participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the day! It was so heartening to see such wonderful sportsmanship displayed across the day. Congratulations to all House Teams who were so well led by their Captains. In particular we congratulate green House Team who like last year, took home the trophy with first place.
Our thanks to Sophie Sullivan our brilliant PE/Sports teacher for her organisation. Our heartfelt thanks to the parent volunteers who assisted in a myriad of ways. Thank you to our teachers/ staff and to Andre who was instrumental in helping set and pack up!
We had three students break SJV records on the day. For further details about these brilliant achievements and of photos of the event, please read our Sports Page in this newsletter.
First Holy Communion
This weekend we begin our First Holy Communion Masses. It is a most important part of our students Faith Development.
The students have been learning about the Sacrament at school, at home and in Parish preparation. The Celebration of the Sacrament is prepared and organised by the Parish staff. We continue to pray that these students will always know of God's unconditional love through the Eucharist.

Foundation Transition Begins
Yesterday we welcomed our 2026 Foundation students and their parents to the first of 4 transition sessions. They enjoyed mixing with each other and participating in a range of activities. The parents enjoyed a morning tea and were given further information around our literacy practices and how to best support their children as we continue to work in partnership. Fr Antony our assistant priest in the Parish visited and welcomed our families. It was a most successful morning!
Lunch with the Principal
Yesterday I was privileged once again to host a lunch for students as part of the PBL token system. We all enjoyed some yummy lunch, trivia and joke telling!

Thank you to those parents who have made a a student placement request. (Requests are now closed). Please note that whilst each one will be considered, we do not guarantee that these will be met.
