Learning News 5/6

On Tuesday all students who are attending the upcoming Canberra excursion had the opportunity to travel to Tamworth and meet the students from Sacred Heart Primary School Boggabri who are travelling with us. It was an amazing day where students did lots of "getting to know you" activities and were able to look at some of the places we are going to visit. Students are to be commended on their interactions with the Boggabri students. 

In Maths, we are learning the order of operations. BODMAS helps us to remember what order to complete math equations in. Students have persisted with this concept and have shown wonderful growth in this topic. 

During writing, students have been working on Information Reports. They have been researching topics and will present their work as a Google Slide. We are looking forward to learning interesting information as each student has chosen a different topic.
