The Billy Button students recently used up some left-over oranges in a delicious and fun hands-on activity that combined nature and nourishment to make their own juice.
As the children worked together to cut and squeeze the oranges, they not only strengthened their fine motor skills but also developed an appreciation for the simple beauty of preparing food by hand.
The process allowed them to engage their senses fully feeling the texture of the fruit, smelling the fresh citrus aroma, and, of course, tasting the sweet juice of their hard work. And don’t forget the bubbly joy of washing up their dishes!
