Showcase

Showcase will be on held next Friday, 8 November, at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University Clayton Campus. This annual event for our whole school community is a wonderful celebration of the music program at EHPS.

All EHPS students are preparing to perform at Showcase for this special musical evening. This is a compulsory school activity, and all students are expected to participate. However, if your child cannot participate because you are away or have another commitment, parents/carers must inform your child’s teacher and Grace Cordell in writing including the reason they can't participate not later than Monday (4 November) as this impacts staging and seat allocation in the auditorium.

Tickets:

Tickets purchased online from Monash Performing Arts Centres, on sale from Wednesday 16 October. We requested families purchase a maximum of two tickets per family due to the venue size to ensure every EHPS family has the opportunity to attend. Children two years and under may sit on their parent's lap. Do not purchase tickets for EHPS students as they are performing and already have allocated seats. If tickets remain closer to the date additional tickets will be released. If you have any questions about your ticket, please contact MPAC Box Office on 9905 1111.

TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT at the time of publication of this newsletter. If you had not purchased your ticket and want to attend, please contact the School Office on 9807 4944 to go on the ticket waitlist if tickets are released or returned.

Tickets you can’t use?  If you’ve purchased Showcase tickets but no longer require them, please advise the School Office so they can be sold to a family on the ticket waitlist. We will put you in contact with a family on the ticket waitlist, or can exchange them on your behalf through the Office.

Times:

  • Late Start to School (opt-in):  In previous years, parents have elected to allow their children to have a sleep-in or a quiet morning to compensate for the late finish on the night. If you decline the late start, supervision at school commences at 8.50am until formal learning commences at 11.30am.

  • Formal learning commences at 11.30am for all students.
