Actions for Earth - School Sustainability Challenge Award 

On Monday 28 October, we received an award from Monash Council, presented by Naomi Ryan at our School Assembly, for participating and meeting the requirements for the Actions for Earth – School Sustainability Challenge. This was an award for taking part in sustainability initiatives such as introducing:  Lights off Lunchtimes, Wrapper free lunches, participating in Clean up Australia Day, having paper recycling and green bins, sorting and selling lost property, building the micro forest and other sustainability initiatives our school takes part in.

Thank you to all staff and students who help to make EHPS as sustainable as we can. We are looking forward to building on these initiatives and being even more sustainable in 2025!

Term 4 Bin Roster

We are looking for a few more names for our recycling bins roster, and in particular THIS SUNDAY, 3 November!

If you are staying in Melbourne and have some free time on Sunday, please help our Sustainability program by rolling out green waste and commingled recycling bins out onto Essex Road, ready for the Monday morning collection.
