Italian Cultural Morning

CSPS was awash with colour last Thursday, mainly in shades and variations of verde, bianco e rosso (green, white and red). Children came dressed as Italian themed ‘persons’ or ‘things’ and enjoyed the novelty of going up to meet some of the current teachers from the year level above theirs and to have a look at the classrooms of the year above.

GRAZIE to all the children, with help from their families, for creating this colourful display of Italy. I hope the children came home and showed off some of their creations as well as shared with their family some of their experiences.

After lunch I had the pleasure of hearing from students in 2B about what their favourite activity had been. Here were some of their comments:

I loved doing the pasta pictures and eating the gelato – Lisa, Sadie, Charlotte

Mosaics – Josie & Mia

Pasta art - Ash

Gelato - Surah & Ellie

The show in the hall and eating the gelato - Dion

That’s Amore show in the hall – Maya & Levi Sa

My favourite activities were the mosaic CIAO and playing the board game Signor Invisibile (Mr. Invisible) - Aiden

Eating gelato and the mosaics – Indigo & Nochie

I can’t decide on just one activity…I enjoyed the pasta art, the mosaics and the dancing - Mason

Everything! – Lily & Brody
