Yarning Circle
On Friday November 1st, Year 10 Indigenous students Joanna Parr and Katja Morgan attended Thornbury High School for a yarning circle ran by our KESO Sonya Hunt. In the yarning circle, the girls talked about things they would like to achieve while connecting to culture. They also did weaving and learnt some other traditional things. They even made MGC a message stick for our office. Overall, the girls enjoyed their day and are looking forward to the next one being held.
