Year 10 Outdoor Education
SEMESTER 2 CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
Year 10 Outdoor Education students for Semester 2 have recently been on their two camps for the course, each offering a unique chance to explore different ecosystems, work on their practical outdoor skills and build resilience.
The first camp was a 3-day hiking trip to Mount Stirling in the beautiful Victorian Alpine region. Students embraced the challenges of rugged trails, developing their hiking skills, and were rewarded with stunning mountain views and a real sense of accomplishment. We even got snow on the last day!
The second adventure was a 3-day Surf Camp in Anglesea. Here, students took to the water to engage in surfing and kayaking, while also exploring the diverse ecosystems of Victoria’s surf coast.
At both camps students worked extremely well together and demonstrated an outstanding positive culture as a group, making lasting memories and strengthening friendships. All staff that attended are very proud of everyone’s effort and enthusiasm!
Thank you to all staff that attended these camps as well to support our students and Outdoor Education Program.
