U15 Lacrosse Australian Championships
Huge congratulations to Amelia Butson, Jess Van der Knijff, Indigo Bomar and Ivy Merritt who represented Victoria at the U15 Australian Championships over the school holidays. Lacrosse is becoming more and more popular as we head towards the 2028 Olympics, so to be selected in these teams is a fantastic achievement – well done!

“During the September school holidays Jess and I flew to Adelaide with our U15 Victorian A lacrosse team, ICE. We spent the week playing daily lacrosse games against other state representative teams including 2 western Australian teams, 4 south Australian teams, 2 Victorian teams (including us) 1 New Zealand team and a president’s team. At the start of the week, we remained the only girls team to be undefeated until the game right before finals started which was against one of the south Australian teams. Because we lost that game, we got dropped down to play for 5th instead of 1st which was very unfortunate. The highlight of the week was making friends and meeting people our age from around the country and New Zealand.”
