Student Services : Careers 

Is it just me, or has 2025 passed at the speed of light? It’s been a huge year in Careers and we are busy working with students through transition plans and also planning ahead for our programs in 2025.

We love to work with our NHS community wherever we can, and it seems timely to put a shout-out to our extended community who might be able to help us out:

Looking for expertise for 2025 programs

• Our Careers Expo and Careers Talks will be held on Monday 24 March 2025. We will be seeking organisations/industry bodies to exhibit at the expo to chat to students about careers in their industry. If you have any contacts with industry bodies who would like to chat to hundreds of students on this day, we would love to hear from you. Contact Karen.Burgess@nhs.vic.edu.au 

• Our VCE Vocational Major students are a terrific group of young adults who are studying VCE as well as a vocational course at TAFE. These students are required to work one day a week in industry, and we are seeking employers who can support this program. Students are insured by Department of Education and are not paid for this great learning experience. We have students studying courses in a huge range of areas including, Electrical, Animal Studies, Sports, Carpentry, Engineering, Beauty Services, Automotive, Sports/Aquatics, Business, Early Childhood, Plumbing and Screen/Media.
