Behind the Scenes at the MCG

Year 9 Total Sports class recently had the opportunity to experience an iconic sporting venue on an excursion to the Melbourne Cricket Ground. We were given a great tour, learning the history of the MCG, and were lucky enough to walk field side of the oval, through the team facilities, including the team changing rooms and recovery room, while also checking out the MCG Museum. Students were able to sit in the newsroom where coaches and players have their media conferences, walk through the exclusive long room, as well as being able to visit the corporate boxes.  The class had a great time walking in the footsteps of their sporting heroes!
