ART

with Mrs Humphrey

During Term 4, Langwarrin Primary School artists have really gone above and beyond to express their ideas and creativity.

In Prep students have explored the layered world of Eric Carle and created Hungry Caterpillar inspired butterflies and are working on using paper collage to create their own Angry Bears.

Year 1 and 2 have been developing tracing skills and learning how to make detailed patterns to add texture and interest to our work. Creating cartoon like animals of all shapes and sizes.

Year 3 and 4 have developed technical skills with water paint. Learning how to blend colours, create their own and build layers of texture. Painting beautiful representations of the seasons.

Grade 5 students have been looking at themselves and what makes them individual and amazing.

They have created a representation of themselves in a jar, making a snapshot of their own interests, skills and awesome personalities.

Year 6 graduates are mid way through their graduation Skate deck street art, creating a piece of art that shows their own journey and makes a statement.

STAY TUNED for the reveal at Year 6 Graduation.
