What's Been Happening in Year 1

On Tuesday the 12th of November 1A and 1D went on an excursion to the Melbourne Zoo. 1B and 1C attended their Melbourne Zoo Excursion on Wednesday the 13th of November. 

It was an amazing day where students had the opportunity to observe the habitat and features of a variety of animals. It was a fun-filled day with lots of learning opportunities and engagement by all!

What's Been Happening in Year 4 

Our Year 4 students have been exploring the challenges faced by the world’s first explorers through their Inquiry sessions. They have studied various explorers and mapped their journeys on a timeline. A memorable experience was their visit to Polly Woodside in East Melbourne, where they gained valuable insights into Australian geography, history, and culture.

During the excursion, students engaged with the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung culture learned about early navigation techniques and explored the sailing hierarchy. This educational outing not only deepened their understanding but also fostered memorable experiences, all beautifully captured in photos from their day at Polly Woodside.
