 School Captain  Newsletter Update: Week 8

Hi everyone, 

Last week we had a presentation for the STOMP dance program we have been doing for the last 6 weeks. Each week the classes have been learning and practising dances and having a lot of fun.

On Thursday each year level presented two dances to the parents and families and then we finished off with a whole school dance. Even a few teachers got up and were dancing. 

Most of the students in the school really enjoyed this dance program and had a great time learning something new. Some students were really nervous about doing it because dancing isn't their favourite thing to do, but that is okay and they showed a lot of resilience giving it a go.

Last week the students in Prep to Year 4 also started swimming lessons at Genazzano College. So far they have been learning a lot and having fun. This week they will have three more lessons.

On Friday the whole school is going to Scienceworks for an excursion and we cannot wait. Scienceworks is a fun place to visit.
