Grade 5/6 News
What a delight it was to take our Grade 5/6 cohort away for Camp in Week 4!
We hope you enjoyed hearing about all of the highlights and adventures that were had during our time at Harrietville.
Congratulations to all students on such a successful camp and thank you to our fabulous staff who supported our students during our time away.
This week is another high energy week with our swimming sessions taking place for all classes. A big thank you to the parents who are supporting us with our ratios so that these sessions can occur.
Our throughline learning focus has shifted to exploring stories and perspectives of people who migrated to Australia, and the reasons they migrated.
We were fortunate enough to engage in a virtual session run by Melbourne Immigration Museum last week.
During the session we learnt all about the story of Mai Ho, who arrived in Victoria in the 1970s after leaving Vietnam as a result of the war.
