Disco, Pizza and Movie Night

On Friday 8th November students excitedly got dressed in their party attire and arrived at school at 4.30pm to join the throng of dancers enjoying our disco.  Students enjoyed a playlist full of our favourite tunes and beats!  With flashing disco lights, students had a fabulous time grooving to the music and hanging with friends! Students also had the option to enjoy some quieter moments with some mindfulness colouring in between burning up the dance floor!

Following the musical entertainment, students enjoyed a pizza dinner, while picnicking with their friends in our lovely school grounds.  Students were very excited to be consuming a refreshing icy pole for dessert!

The last part of our evening involved our students collecting their favourite soft toys and pillows and congregating in the gallery space to view the animated feature film, 'The Jungle Book' which included catchy tracks like 'The Bear Necessities'! Our Grade 1/2s enjoyed some yummy popcorn before our movie concluded.

1PT:

Amelia - I liked when we were dancing at the disco!

Zach - I liked the pizza and the lemonade icy poles at the 1/2 Disco night!

Cathy - I liked to watch the 'Jungle Book' movie because I can use my pillow to sleep!

Xander - I liked everything because it was a really fun night!

Adeline - I liked to do the dancing because I liked the music!

Lennox - I liked the pizza the best because it tasted good!

Kiaan - I liked watching the movie because it was funny and I liked eating all the food!

Ives - The pizza was the best because it had a lot of pineapple .  It was really juicy!

Maxwell - I liked eating the icypoles because it was delicious!!

Pia - I liked dancing with the friends while the movie was on during the disco.

 

2MC:

Lydia – I liked the disco because there was music that I really liked.

Domenico – I liked the pizza because it was very, very yummy. I really liked the icy poles too.

Daniel – I liked the Hawaiian pizza because it had the perfect amount of ham and pineapple.

Arthur – I liked staying in the quiet room because the music was too loud. I liked drawing with my friends.
