Grade 3/4 News

Loving learning every day with Mrs Jacobs and Miss Mawby!

Cave Hill Creek Camp

What an amazing time we had at Cave Hill Creek. It was a jam packed three days of fun and laughter, and by Friday afternoon we were all exhausted! When we arrived, it was drizzling, but by the time we had been allocated to tents and put our bags away, the rain had cleared up, and we were ready for our first activity.

Highlights included:

  • Possum Gliding
  • Canoeing
  • Crate Stacking
  • Map Reading
  • Bike Riding
  • Hut building

Thank you to Mr Shuttleworth, Wade Simpson and Mark Glenton for coming along to camp to help out. We couldn't have done it without you!

Below are some of students' thoughts on their time at camp:

My favourite activity at the camp was the most fun thing, the Possum Glider. We would like to thank our teacher and the people who helped us get to Cave Hill Creek. Thank you for letting us stay.

We went to archery, and it was so stressful, since I have never done archery! Thank you to all the people who helped the 3/4s in their learning and activities.

The instructors were so kind and helpful, and we had so much fun!

The glamping tents were really clean ... until the 3/4s got there. Thank you for making them so cosy.
