Kindness Award

It is a pleasure to supervise our students on the playground and to witness students who are kind to each other. The way our older students care for the younger students is a real strength of our school. Congratulations to Alex Davis, Bradley Colgan & Brax Hand for being kind on the playground. You make our school a better place!

Professional Learning for staff

In order to continue to provide the very best possible education for your children our staff attend Professional Learning opportunities wherever practical. 

Last week Mrs Canham attended Leadership and Religious Education Courses.  This week our administration staff Kate & Tracey are spending two days learning about the new features of Compass and the financial system Tech One. Also, this week our Leadership team will have two days with Lyn Sharratt (an international expert on leading School Improvement) learning about quality assessment practices and looking closely at explicit teaching strategies which have a high impact on student learning. Mrs Bartholomew will be leading the school in my absence this Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Times Tables and Number Facts Challenge

I encourage all our primary students (years 3-6) to continue learning their times tables as our annual Times Tables and Number Facts Challenge will be held next Tuesday 24th September.
