LEADERSHIP TEAM

Mr. Justin Matt, Mr. Brad Vallance, Mr. Josh Willersdorf

Dear Parents, Guardians and students,

We welcomed back our students last week to begin our final term of the year, which is shaping up to be very exciting. Our year 12’s are in full revision mode in readiness for their upcoming exams. They will finish classes next week and start exams in week 4, starting with English. We would like to wish them all the best over the next few weeks and look forward to celebrating their achievements throughout their schooling at our upcoming breakfast and celebration dinner.

With the year finishing for our senior students, we would like to thank this year’s captains Molly Gleeson and Regan Peters, as well as this year’s ambassadors for all of the work they have done to support the school and their peers throughout 2024. You have been great advocates and role models for our students and our school.

Looking to next year, we announced our 2025 school captains at last week’s assembly, so would like to congratulate Jamaine Lawson-Chapman and Raya Robb on being the successful applicants. Jamaine and Raya have shown excellent leadership throughout their years at Reddy and we look forward to working with them next year in their new roles to continue making our school an amazing space for everyone.

We had our annual ‘Reddy Set Show’ event on earlier in the week, which was a highlight to see some of the great work our students are producing from a range of areas. We would like to thank all of the staff involved for their dedication in this space and creating such a great event to celebrate the work that has been happening in their classes.

Our Intermediate Boys Basketball team performed well on Wednesday, unfortunately just going down in a close game in the semi-finals. Big thanks to Tre and Ms Jamie-Lee Nunn for running trainings and organising the event. This was the final interschool event for the year so would also like to send a huge thankyou to Mr Sandy Thomas for all of the work he has done throughout the year in this space.

Just a reminder that not only do we have the Public Holiday on Tuesday, 5th November for Melbourne Cup, but also a staff Professional Practice Day on Monday, 4th November, 2024. Therefore, there will be no students on site for both of these days. More information will be sent out as it gets closer.
