Mr Shuttleworth

Over the last fortnight, all of our classes learned about "R U OK? Day". The aim of the day is to encourage checking in with people, listening carefully, encouraging supports, and then following up.

Our Preps looked at how they can tell in their body when they're not feeling good, such as when they have butterflies in their stomach or are getting a headache.

Our 1/2s looked at what makes a good friend, and started work on their "Wanted: A Good Friend" posters.

Our 3/4s learned about having R U OK? conversations, and looked at how they can access Kids Helpline over the phone or by using the webchat feature on a device.

Our 5/6s did some research into different organisations that can help people when they're not OK, including Kids Helpline and Lifeline.
