From the Principal

As Term 3 comes to a close, I want to wish you all a restful and enjoyable holiday with your kids and families.

We will round this week out with our end-of-term BBQ and Footy Colours JSC day. Money raised by the JSC will go towards purchasing student selected sports equipment to put back into the school yard.

Over the past 2 weeks, we have celebrated some individual and team achievements on the sporting field. I would like to congratulate those students who won netball medals at the Wednesday night netball competition. our division athletics athletes, students who have won awards at netball and football presentation nights, as well as any other awards and certificated in all other sports our students participate in. It has been wonderful to see the smiles and the sense of pride in these students when they have been talking about their achievements.

On Monday, all staff took part in a full day professional learning program presented by Berry Street. Throughout the day, staff learnt about the importance of providing opportunities for students to regulate, self-regulation and positive primers. I can't wait to walk through the classrooms, next term, to see how this new learning is being implemented in the classroom. This PL is one of 4 that we will be attending throughout the terms 4, 1 and 2 (2025).

Just a reminder, school finishes at 2.30pm this Friday. Students who chose not to dress in footy colours are welcome to wear casual clothes.
