In February 2024, Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS), our governing body, introduced an exciting new plan to help every student succeed: the Vision for Instruction.
We are pleased to share that as a school, we have unpacked the Vision for Instruction, a key initiative as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality education for all students. This vision, guided by the values and goals of MACS, focuses on evidence-based teaching practices designed to enhance student learning and engagement.
Our teachers have collaboratively explored what this vision means for our school, and we are working to integrate it into our teaching and learning practices. This includes:

Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.
Our Specialist Timetable for Term 4 is outlined below. We will do our best to outline any changes throughout the term that may occur. Changes are due to school and level events out of our control.
Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this term is below:
The library will be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
Christmas Card Competition
(optional)
Nicole Werner is excited to announce her very first Christmas Card competition and invites all primary school students in the Warrandyte electorate to submit their artwork for a chance to feature on her Christmas card this year, which will then be sent to every household in the electorate!
Attached is the entry form for students.
The winning artwork will be displayed on the front of her official Christmas card, with drawings from the finalists featured on the back.

Entries can be submitted by:
- Dropped off or posted to the office at Suite 2, 1020 Doncaster Road, Doncaster East
- Scanned and emailed as a JPEG or PDF file to nicole.werner@parliament.vic.gov.au
The closing date for entries to submitted is by 5PM on Monday 28 October 2024.
